In a tough market like this one it takes creativity to aggressively market and sell homes. Part of aggressively marketing a home is promoting it to other agents. Many agents market to other agents by offering a selling incentive. They do this by having the sellers pay, for example, a $1,000 bonus to the selling agent. Not only is this expensive for the seller but it doesn't generate a lot of excitement.
I figure if you are going to do something, do it big or don't do it at all. So now I introduce to you my new $10,000 Agent Incentive Program! Before you ask, no I am not asking my sellers to pay a $10,000 selling incentive. I am paying it myself.
Here's how the program works. For every agent that sells a listing of mine that is part of the program they will be entered into a drawing for $10,000. After fifty sales the drawing will be held. Every agent has a one in fifty chance of winning. One agent will walk away with $10,000.
I have just launched the program and it is definitely drawing attention, which is the whole point. The program makes it easier for agents to remember my clients' homes the next time they are with a buyer. What could make a home more memorable than attaching a chance at $10,000 to it?

Troy, this is definitely one way of disclosing your incentive program. Also, it is important to make sure the office file gets a disclosure signed by the buyer making sure they are aware of the agent incentive at the time of the offer. Great job thinking outside the box!
