The construction of Aksarben Village brought a great mix of retail, entertainment, academic and residential revitalization to mid-town Omaha NE.

One of the entertainment and recreation attractions of Aksarben Village is the new Stinson Park at 67th and Center St. The park is 4.5 acres and includes a performance stage, a 100 foot tall tower, picnic shelters, and huge open green spaces.

During the summers on Saturday nights there is free entertainment. Each Saturday alternates between a movie and a live band. Last Saturday we packed a dinner and our lawn chairs and went to the park with a few friends to watch that '80's hit Footloose.
