 The neighborhood features a variety of styles of homes, everything from large two story floor plans with three car garages to more modest split entry and multilevel homes and everything in between. This is definitely not a cookie cutter neighborhood. There are currently four homes for sale in Stonybrook South ranging in price from $165,000 to $199,000. In the last six months there have been eight home sales with a low price of $121,000 (a foreclosure) and a high of $183,000.

Stonybrook South Park is complete with playground, walking trails, and a picnic area. It is also the site of the neighborhood's annual Easter egg hunt.

Stonybrook South is located in Omaha, NE on the edge of Sarpy County between Harrison St. and Chandler Rd. and between 144th St. and about 138th St. A great upside of this location is easy commuting. You can hop on interstate I-80 by either heading East on Harrison St to 126th St to or by going South on 144th St. An alternative to the interstate is Highway 370 which is also just South on 144th St.

Need to get your car washed? Just take Josephine St. across 144th St. and you will find a brand new, high tech, do-it-yourself carwash. What I love about the carwash and makes it a minor landmark, at least in my mind, is that it was heavily damaged in the tornado of 2008 and they rebuilt it and at the same time renamed it Tornado Carwash.
