I initially started in real estate as an investor. Once I learned everything I could on real estate investing it only seemed natural to become a Realtor to assist others in the Omaha area with buying and selling real estate. I still actively invest in real estate and own seven investment properties. Buyers and sellers that utilize my services can have great confidence in my ability because I actually put my money on the line. In my opinion, hiring a Realtor that does not invest in real estate is like hiring a stock broker that does not invest in the stock market.

Troy is different from other realtors in many ways. Before I decided to go with a realtor I interviewed four realtors and clearly Troy was very different and innovative in his marketing. Also, his track record of the sales per year is almost an impossible task for most of the realtors. His sales in 2009 were 45 compared to 25 for most of the other realtors. That itself speaks very highly about his marketing and that is what made me decide to go with him. Both me and my wife were extremely happy with our decision to go with Troy since he is very hard working and always kept his word. His team offers excellent service and you can reach Troy on his cell phone almost always. If you ever reach his answering machine, he will call you back right away. He is the only realtor among the ones that I interviewed that helped me stage my house (gave me tips when he made the walk through) at no extra cost. Also, he gave me tips that hardly cost me anything but I am sure made a huge difference and helped me sell the house. As a person, Troy is very humble, polite and friendly. We are so pleased with Troy's work for us.  He understood the market and what our home would sell for.  We sold our home through Troy in 35 days.  We had previously signed on with two other agents from two different companies and were on the market for a total of 235 days without a sale.

I appreciated Troy's marketing skills more than anything else.  Troy knows how to advertise his properties so they stand out in every type of media: internet, flyers, real estate books, etc.   A fried of mine just recently sold his house.  His realtor got 3 people through his house in 3 months.  Troy, during an economic recession, got that many people through my house the first day it was on the market.  And the numbers never slowed down.  After 12 days on the market we already had an offer.  But that wasn't it.  Days later we received a back-up offer!  Two offers in less than 1 month.  It was great.   Most people look for their houses on the internet first before even talking with a realtor.  Troy uses this to his advantage and really knows how to make the property look good online where people are first going to take notice of your house (this is where I first took notice of him and his abilities first).  All this service for nearly the lowest price you can find.   I don't see why anyone would go with a different realtor.  Troy IS the best realtor in Omaha.   There's no reason not to use him.  If you want your house sold, go with Troy.

It took just a brief search for "Top Real Estate Agents in Omaha NE" on the internet (at one of the prominent Real Estate Advice sites) for the name Troy Trumm to pop up.

My wife and I had originally listed with another major brokerage firm, and by the time our contract with them end we were very disillusioned.  We felt neglected:  just 3 showings in 3 months and little to no contact to keep us informed as to what was going on in the market.  It was time for a new approach.

We found Troy listed on line.  The posting commented on how he averaged about one closing a week during 2008.  I read on and was attracted to the fact that he considers himself to be a "Seller's Agent".  He likes the challenge of selling, and now I know what that means.  He goes all out to get you the best advice upfront about presenting your house for showings, and he gets down to the brutal honesty of the market and your home's condition to see that you get the absolute best price for your house.
